Who manages Birkdale Park?
The proud homeowner is Mrs Cunningham who converted the home in 1986. Birkdale Park is managed by Carol’s eldest son Jonathan Cunningham MBE an ex-Army Major who is passionate about care for ‘his lovelies’. Birkdale Park is a loving home managed by an experienced family team. Staff turnover is small and use of agency staff a very seldom occurrence. ​The Jonathan issues a regular video update all families. Every relative is issued the care manager’s personal phone number for their reassurance and use. This is what care should be.
Birkdale Park is an exceptional nursing home situated within Southport.
We are a family-owned home that delivers outstanding loving care for Mum or Dad.
The home is situated within a converted Victorian dwelling with extensive modernisation and development over the years. Rooms range from the traditional with wood panelling to modern rooms with en-suite facilities.
